The greatest reward — an Umrah in Ramadan equals Hajj in reward, as authentically narrated — but also the busiest, especially the last ten nights. Book far ahead.
Quieter Windows
Between Hajj and Rabi' al-Awwal, and midweek days generally, offer serene Tawaf and better hotel rates.
Tips: get your Nusuk permit before traveling; dawn and post-Isha are summer's gentlest Tawaf times.
