Built by the Spanish in the 1920s and never used as a mosque — but its hilltop made it everyone's beloved: the sunset balcony where all blue Chefchaouen glows beneath the Rif. Leave an hour before sunset from Ras el-Ma (~15-20 min paved path), bring water, descend before full dark.
