Before Tbilisi there was Narikala — 4th-century walls above the city, now its finest balcony beside Mother Georgia's sword-and-cup statue. Ride the cable car from Rike Park (transit card works!), walk down through the lanes, and time it for sunset as the city lights below. Free ramparts; grippy shoes for smooth stones; the Botanical Garden waterfall makes a green alternative descent.
