Ocean Park opened on Wong Chuk Hang Road in Aberdeen in 1977, combining a marine mammal park, a large aquarium and an amusement park with thrill rides all in one.

The park is made up of two main areas, "The Waterfront" and "The Summit," connected by a cable car ride with panoramic ocean views, as well as a funicular train known as the "Ocean Express." Highlights include the Grand Aquarium, showcasing sharks and coral reefs, and the giant panda habitats.
